Asians In Music is a project dedicated to showcasing Asian and Asian-American singers, composers and musicians who currently live in Los Angeles. It focuses on telling their story and showing their music, and bringing awareness to the idea that people of Asian heritage can be popular musicians and singers in America.

Artists:
Angela Ho – Born and bred in the Bay, Angela is a former USC student currently pursuing a singing career. Her preferred genres include acoustic pop and R&B, but she grew up singing jazz standards, including “Fly Me To the Moon.”
Miles Jensen – Miles Jensen is a half-Chinese, half-White student at the Masters in Jazz Guitar at USC. A talented guitar player, he has played jazz for years now, and continues to do so professionally.
Irene Kim – Raised in Indonesia, Irene Kim is a Korean student at USC who sings, songwrites and plays piano while pursuing her degree in International Relations.
Geunsu Lee – Geunsu Lee is a Korean student pursuing a Bachelors in Jazz Guitar at USC.
Janet Lee – Janet Lee is a Korean student pursuing a Bachelors in Physics at UCLA. Her passion for music showcases itself in the multiple a capella groups she sings with at UCLA.
Andrew Liu – Andrew Liu is a currently touring musician who recently graduated from USC as a Music Industry major.
Dan Moyer – Dan Moyer is a Chinese-American graduate student at USC pursuing a PhD in computational neuroscience. He has been a singer and musician since he was young, and has participated in multiple a capella groups and marching bands around Southern California.
Abe Song – Abe Song is a Korean pursuing a classical composing major at Boston University. He self-taught himself how to play piano, and now attends BU on a full scholarship pursuing his passion in composing.
Leo Xia – Leo Xia is a Chinese student at USC pursuing an engineering degree. He has dedicated nearly all of his free time out of school towards the goal of becoming a singer-songwriter, and is currently recording his debut EP.
Bellamy Yoo – Bellamy is a Korean-American student and classically trained vocalist pursuing a degree in engineering at USC. Growing up, he participated in several theatres and choirs in the Greater Los Angeles Area.
Hosu Yoon – Hosu Yoon is a Korean producer and audio engineer pursuing a degree in Music Industry at USC.
Richard You – Richard You is a Korean student pursuing a degree in Popular Music Performance – Bass at USC.
Sam Yun – Sam Yun is a Korean-American student pursuing a degree in Popular Music Performance – Guitar at USC.
Carrie Zhang – Carrie Zhang is a Chinese-American student at USC. In the midst of her studies, she finds time to be a singer-songwriter and participate in a few a capella groups on campus, as well as time to practice playing piano and ukulele.
